By denying access to our natural resources either reduces production or makes us dependent upon foreign sources. Energy is the engine of production which powers production of goods.

Our Constitution defines our freedom. Our freedom actually includes methods to weaken the Constitution by passing laws which challenge the original intent of the Constitution. These laws may be upheld by judicial decision. The Constitution also provides that errors in judgment may be corrected.
Socialized Health Care -
Debate has now begun on the merits of “single payer health care, that is, “government run health care, that is, SOCIALIZED HEALTH CARE. The press is silent on this debate – for some reason- the Democrat leaders are trying to slip through quickly, that is, “under the radar”, that is, without you understanding what is going on. Not only will socialized health care kill our American medical system but it will bankrupt the country. Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are some 50 TRILLION dollars in the hole, that is, under funded, that is, the “protected” “trust funds” have been “borrowed” to pay for other special projects.
Pay attention to what the Canadians and British have to put up with. Listen to them beg us not to make the same mistake they made. You bet that they are worried because where else but to America can they turn for critical, timely health care?
Go to the left-hand side of this site and find your Congressman and Senator. Telephone their offices and leave a respectful message demanding that we do not create a Nationalized Health Care system. This represents your Freedom and Liberty and that of America’s future. Once created, an entitlement is there forever. What is an ENTITLEMENT? Where do you find them in the Constitution? The Constitution guarantees to "promote the general welfare…” not to “PROVIDE” welfare.
Detaining Illegals -
CNS news reports that Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Mericopa County, Arizona is under investigation for holding illegal aliens until they are deported.
The investigation was demanded by ACORN and the National Day Laborer, both activist groups, saying the “civil rights” of the illegal aliens had been infringed.
Charity Deductions-
At the March 24th news conference, Pres. Obama discussed his proposal to reduce the deductions given to charity on the grounds that it would only adversely affect 1% of those giving to charity. What was not said was that it is that small percentage of people who compose the bulk of donations to charity
Media misdirection -
We must be aware of these and other changes that are occurring in our country and pay attention to media misdirection from more important subjects. Remember the challenge to AIG bonus? The house just passed a 90% tax on the AIG bonuses. This is serious. There is nothing in the Constitution that permits the govermnent to override a legal contract. Does a legal and enforceable contract have any meaning or is it subject to the whim of Congress? They claim outrage about those legal contracts, which were protected by Senator Chris Dodd in the stimulus package. Where is their outrage about the TRILLIONS of unaccounted dollars in stimulus spending? Following an protest from the American public, the administration has backed down on the idea. More to come ...
Many voters decide to support a candidate according to a single issue. If you support a candidate according because of an inividual issue and this candidate is also in favor of seriously crippling our national defence or spending untold amounts of money contrary to fiscal fundamentals, then you need to re-evaluate your priorities. Go back to basics and understand what makes us strong and what will weaken us.
One person, YOU, entering into discussion with another individual is all that is necessary to promote thinking. Without dwelling on individual issues that, by themselves are important, consider whether the nation should follow the fundamental government prescribed in the Constitution. Here’s an idea: an inordinate amount of American treasure (money) has been “earmarked” for a financial “stimulus”. These funds are estimated, “politically guessed”, to amount to ten trillion dollars, $ 10,000,000,000,000 over the next ten years.
These funds, your tax money, and that of all your future tax-paying family, will be re-distributed by governmental agencies or bureaucrats, read, very close friends all taking their "share".
How about this for an idea: consider that the money is re-distributed without the "aid" of governmental agencies or bureaucrats and that the total amount of money is available for distribution. This can be done easily by just flying over the population and shoveling out the ten Trillion dollars in $20 bills. BUT how many Boeing 747s would that take?
One million dollars in $20 bills weighs approximately 110 pounds. Then, if:
$ 1,000,000 weighs 110 pounds,
$ 1,000,000,000 weighs 110,000 pounds,
$ 1,000,000,000,000 weighs 110,000,000 pounds,
$ 10,000,000,000,000 weighs 1,100,000,000 pounds.
A fully-fueled 747-400 has a take-off cargo capacity of approximately 266,000 pounds.
Therefore, it would take 4,135 Boeing 747s to dump ten Trillion dollars over the population.
Can you fathom this? Visualize loading 4,135 of the largest aircraft with $20 bills and shovelling it out.
There have only been 1412 Boeing 747s built as of February 2009 according to Wikipedia.
Does the government think that you are that stupid to accept this? Are you thinking? How does this work for you? Are you MAD yet?

We have just witnessed the Federal Government assume a “position” in the auto industry and the banking industry. This was done by first offering a “loan” which became non-voting preferred shares, which then became voting common shares. The Government has claimed ownership of formerly private companies. Is there an “exit strategy”? Is this “partnership” permanent? Pretty slick, this was without the vote of congress and without the vote of the shareholders and even more stunning, without any challenge of constitutionality from Congress.
The current administration has just released to the public, confidential memos spelling out exactly what methods of interrogation may and may not be used when “visiting” with the animals captured on the battlefield. This action greatly aids the enemy and teaches them exactly what to expect from their “hosts”.
Hold on now, former U. S. Vice President Dick Chaney, was one step ahead of them. A few months ago he made a formal request that additional memos be also declassified which describe the incalculable wealth of information that was gathered, who additionally could be captured and what planned devastations were averted. So far, these requests are unanswered.
The administration is also determining whether legal action should be taken against the legal council of the former president regarding the legal advice they offered him. Never in the history of our nation has a successor administration sought legal action on the confidential advice given to a previous administration. This will effectively destroy any future private advice. The consequence is clear.
The consequences of compromising the CIA intelligence in the 1970s came to haunt us when on 9-11 the World Trade Center was destroyed. Do you remember when politicians started demanding: “why didn’t someone connect the dots?" There WEREN'T any dots; we tore up the paper. We also tore up their morale.
As you observe what is happening, pay attention to actions, not the rhetoric, think what the consequences could be.
This raises the obvious question: What is the goal? The methods are clear.
1. ignore our good accomplishments at home and throughout the world
2. dwell upon any negative subject
3. divide the citizens into competing groups
4. redefine the meaning of the Constitution
5. reduce the actual value of the dollar
6. create national entitlements
7. create global “entitlements”
8. reduce our national status in world affairs
9. compromise the justice system with “political” decisions
10. create regulations and taxation which modify personal and business decisions
11. weaken our military strength and morale
12. avoid aggressively maintaining national sovereignty
13. control education and eliminate incentive
14. destroy confidence in free elections
15. eliminate secret union ballot

As reported in The Washington Times on April 14th, 2009, the Department of Homeland Security, DHS, is warning about “right-wing extremist activity”. These “extremists” include “not just racist or hate groups, but groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority”.
Here are a couple of things to think about: take a look at the 10th Amendment which establishes this nation as a Federal system, meaning that the states retain their individual sovereignty in all matters other than that which is specified in the Constitution.
It is interesting that this DHS report is issued one day before there are “tea parties” planned in all 50 states which express opposition to the current national agenda. The agenda which has added an “unsustainable” debt, as described by the Government Accounting Office, a serious reduction in our national defense, government intervention in private business, open borders, citizenship for illegal alien (invaders), punishing inflation as a result of the enormous debt and socialized health care. Which are a few of the Hopes and Changes "accomplished" during the last 12 weeks.
It will also be interesting to see how the media reports the “Tea Parties” and whether the parties are successfully infiltrated by other-minded well-paid groups or individuals.
